Bill-of-materials (BOM) manufacturer information
Looking at the examples provided in the assembly guide (https://uk.beta-layout.com/pcb/technology/assembly_guide.html), and in the example excel-files, I am not sure where I should put the component manufacturer information, and how to deal with special components such as connectors.
For example, suppose I have a surface mount FPC connector from the Molex 52271 series, specifically the 52271-0469.
I guess this information needs to be placed in one or more of the following columns: Value, Device, Package, Description, Description2.
Could someone tell me what should go in each of these columns, for this specific example?
Should I indicate somewhere if a component is through hole or surface mount (I guess that belongs in the Package column)?
